The trailer, titled “The Ways of Roaming Hyrule: The Land Chapter,” showcases a variety of environments and puzzles, including deserts, waterways, volcanoes, and wetlands. Players can look forward to a rich exploration experience, enhanced by new mechanics like horseback riding. Not only can you use your horse to traverse difficult terrains, but you can also engage in combat while riding, adding a new layer of strategy to the game.
One of the standout features revealed is the ability to summon a duplicate of your horse once certain conditions are met. This adds an interesting strategic element, allowing players to switch between horses at will.
Princess Zelda herself has some new tricks up her sleeve. She now possesses the “Duplicate” ability, enabling her to replicate items found in Hyrule. This power isn’t just for solving puzzles—it can be used in combat as well, such as creating copies of stones to hurl at enemies. The trailer also introduces a new ability called “Sync”, which lets Zelda coordinate her movements with objects and enemies, such as throwing monsters off cliffs or shifting items in sync with her actions.
Set in a vast and mysterious Hyrule, Wisdom Reborn takes place after the events of Tears of the Kingdom. The land is now plagued by strange rifts that swallow people and objects alike—a phenomenon known as “The Vanishing.” With Link lost to the rift, Princess Zelda encounters a fairy named Toli, who grants her the magical Toli’s Wand. Together, they embark on a journey across Hyrule to save its people and find the missing hero, Link.
